Antonis Peppas

Research experience in process design and development, energy optimization of industrial processes and assessment of the environmental impact of products and production processes through LCA analysis. Participation as a senior researcher in more than 30 EC funded projects. He is a member of the Sustainable Transport Forum on a common data approach for electromobility and other alternative fuels, appointed by European Commission's Director-General for Mobility and Transport (MOVE). From 2006 he is supervising the operation of a hybrid smart grid in Lavrion Technological Park equipped with hydrogen equipment, batteries banks and other related intelligent energy management systems. He has published over 40 scientific papers in international journals and conferences, he is a reviewer on journals Sustainability, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Materials, Applied Sciences, Energies and an Editorial Board member of Peer Review Journal of Solar & Photoenergy Systems.
